14k solid gold Greek key/meander earrings. These curved Greek key dangle earrings feature a pin and butterfly lock (push-back) closure. We also offer them upon request in 14k or 18k gold, as well as in white or rose gold.
Our artisans finish the earrings with a polished shine in 14k yellow gold. A unique detail of this design lies in the mirrored pattern, with each earring featuring the opposite design for each ear.
Ancient Greeks regarded the meander as their most important symbol, often associating it with infinity and the eternal flow of life. Many also connect the design to the Cretan labyrinth, since the meander represents a labyrinth in linear form.
Its twisting pattern symbolizes friendship and love, while some interpretations compare it to the serpent, a symbol of guardianship and healing.
