14k (585) solid yellow gold dangle Greek key leaf design earrings with leverback lock. These dangle Greek key earrings is a machine-made and lightweight piece. Also, the pair has opposite design for each ear. A meander or meandros is a decorative border constructed from a continuous line, shaped into a repeated motif. It was among the most important symbols in ancient Greece, and perhaps symbolized infinity and unity. It is considered that there is a connection with the Cretan labyrinth – the meander is the figure of a labyrinth in linear form. The twisting pattern symbolizes as well the bonds of friendship, of love and has also been thought to mimic the serpent, symbol of guardianship and healing. All of our jewelry pieces are handcrafted in our workshop in the center of Athens and are inspired by the Ancient Greek history.
