14k gold double dolphin pair of stud earrings. These 14k dolphin earrings have pin and butterfly lock (push back) and the one earring is the opposite design of the other. All the Kotinos collections are inspired by the Ancient Greek jewelry. This time we were inspired again by the Minoan frescoes. The first representation of dolphins was made during the Minoan civilization (3000-1450BC), in the famous Knossos palace frescoes, showing the importance that Minoans attributed to dolphins. It is not unusual that dolphins are considered until today symbols of freedom, protection and good luck. All our jewelry pieces are handcrafted in our workshop in the center of Athens.
