These short dangle Spiral earrings consist of two pieces, the one piece is the lock with half ball, pin and butterfly lock and the other piece is of one gold solid part of spiral machine-made pattern. The earrings have polished finishing in 14k yellow gold. The most interesting about this design is that the one piece of the earring is the opposite design of the other. The Spiral is one of the oldest symbols and has been used since the Paleolithic period in Greece. We find it in many Greek houses and it decorates architecturally most of the great public and private buildings and monuments. It symbolizes the creation of life and vitality. The concentric rings that expand from a central point to the outside are also a symbol of growth, rebirth, and metaphorically represent the link between the human and the divine.
