Description

14k (585) Solid Gold Rodakas ear jacket earrings with push back closure. These earrings can be also worn as stud earrings, only the upper part or together up & down as part of an ear jacket earring. The down part of the earrings can be matched to any kind of stud soliraire earrings that you already have. Rodakas in Ancient Greek language meant “rose”. This particular design is usually found in ancient gold jewelry or as a decorative element in ancient tombs from the time of Minoan Era (2nd Century BC) until the Byzantine Empire. This octapetal rosette is inspired by the marble of the Caryatid, the Goddess Demeter, from small Propylea, Eleusis, Attica. All of our jewelry are inspired by the Ancient Greek history and have been handcrafted in our workshop in the center of Athens.
