This particular design is usually found in ancient gold jewelry or as a decorative element in ancient tombs from the time of Minoan Era (2nd Century BC) until the Byzantine Empire. This octapetal rosette is inspired by the marble of the Caryatid, the Goddess Demeter, from small Propylea, Eleusis, Attica. All of our jewelry are inspired by the Ancient Greek history and have been handcrafted in our workshop in the center of Athens.
