Description
Our family workshop, situated at the heart of Athens, proudly presents the 14K (585) Gold Phaistos Disc Pendant No 4, a stunning addition to the Phaistos Disc Collection. This unique pendant, crafted in 14k gold showcases a double-sided design, size four, that faithfully reproduces the intricate patterns found on the ancient fired clay discovered in 1908 at the Minoan Palace of Phaistos on the island of Crete.
Our artisans have meticulously recreated the design on both the front and back of the pendant. Offering a true-to-history representation of this fascinating artifact. The Phaistos Disc, a remarkable piece of Minoan writing, is believed to be a prayer dedicated to the pregnant goddess and the goddess Aphaia, based on extensive multiannual research.
One side of the disc illuminates the pregnant goddess, radiating with divine light, while the reverse side pays homage to the goddess as she gracefully “sets,” likely representing the Minoan deity Aphaia. Embrace the current trend of layered coin necklaces by incorporating this Phaistos Disc pendant No 4 into your collection, adding a touch of ancient allure to your style.
This pendant is not merely a piece of jewelry; it’s a captivating journey into Minoan history, symbolizing the spirituality and reverence of ancient times. With its double-sided design, it invites you to explore the intricate details that once conveyed prayers to revered goddesses. Elevate your style with this extraordinary piece from the Phaistos Disc Collection, where ancient gold craftsmanship meets contemporary elegance.
